Cyclist Killed in Flatbush Tuesday

Michael Oxley, 28, blew through a steady red light in the morning crash, and did not have a valid drivers’ license, police said.
The cyclist, Jake McDonaugh, 18, had a green light as he tried to cross Flatbush Avenue at Beverley Road, said police.
Oxley’s van slammed into the cyclist so hard, “I thought a building fell down,” said Denise Lovell, 42, who saw the accident. “There was no scream, because he never had a chance.”
